Hi this is me Kirsten
I am passionate about helping more humans create their new possible, connect back to their primal self and our natural world. It is my belief that endurance sport is an ideal vehicle for personal growth through body and mind.
Here on this website I share my experiences, stories, resources and tools to help you on your journey to creating your new possible. Much of what I share is like a journal because I believe that we can make the most positive impact in helping others by sharing our own stories.
Here are a few more things about me.
I am an age group (amateur) triathlete currently racing mostly Ironmman 70.3 races in the age group of 60 - 64 women. I am working towards the goal of winning my age group at races. In order to achieve that goal I must become the best version of myself hence the personal growth in body and mind. I love the growth that is needed to become that best version of myself as well as the adventures and even the struggles.
I have been a triathlon coach for many years including creating and coaching a popular women’s triathlon team focused on helping women reach their first Ironman 70.3 race and creating their new possible in endurance sport and life.
I founded and coached one of the top Junior Elite racing teams in the USA (each year ranked within the top 5). This was an Olympic development team as well as a pro development team.
I created a very popular mental game program (Ironman Mental Game / Awesomeness Of You) that helped a great many athletes reach and accomplish their dreams with deeper self belief.
I do not currently do one on one coach as I am working on building this platform to share my wisdom, experiences, stories and tools so that more people can benefit and create their new possible through endurance sport.
A few non endurance sport things about my background:
Previous to triathlon I was on Wall Street for 20 years in management. I managed money managers and Financial Advisors in offices around the Country. At the time I was one of the few women in management in the large Wall Street Firms. After leaving the big firms I opened my own consulting business. I have since retired from the Financial Services Business.
My education includes one of the top women’s prep schools in the world Emma Willard
A degree in Photojournalism and Art History from S.V.A. in NYC. Studies at Franklin College Switzerland in International Business and Studies at Cambridge University. I have many more studies than listed here which also includes an in-depth program with Jay Shetty, some focused study on physiology of fitness and a great many studies on the mind body connection.
I have lived and traveled many places including Europe & Africa as well as living on a boat in the Mediterranean and Caribbean.
I am so happy you are here:
Rather than tell you my life story here on this page I will be sharing in my blog (journal) stories, ideas, inspiration and resources from my life that will illustrate and hopefully inspire on your journey to creating your new possible.
I find triathlon and endurance sports to be the perfect venue to create all that is truly possible in life through health, wellness in mind and body connection. It is a powerful venue to experience your personal journey of growth. Thank you for joining me on this journey. I am so happy you are here.
Love,
Kirsten
