Changing my nutrition has been challenging because habits with food takes willingness to change... but it's certainly making a significant positive difference already ๐Ÿฅ•๐Ÿฅ—๐ŸŒฎ

Menopause athlete nutrition IS different!! It's different from non athlete menopause women and from pre menopause athlete ๐Ÿฅ™๐Ÿฅ‘

BUT always be sure to do loads of extra rolling and stretching after doing these kinds of sessions. ๐ŸŒง๏ธ๐ŸŒฒ

My goal is to build more lean muscle and reduce un My goal is to build more lean muscle and reduce unhealthy fat. It's a pretty different thing when you reach peri menopause and up. What was working before simply stops working. This is because the reduced estrogen makes it more challenging to build muscle.  Also your body creates more fat if you don't nourish your body with what it really needs.  I have descovered all of this the hard way. ๐ŸŒฒ๐ŸŒธ

I'll be sharing more and more of this on my journey.  I am finally on the other side now.... I've learned and implemented so much that is working. Pfew..... Because it's been very frustrating. Here are a few basics

๐ŸŒธ I am currently getting in around 133 grams of daily protein spread through the whole, day. That is what I got in yesterday.  Before it was below 50 grams a day. It's been a challenge changing my daily nutrition but wow what a huge difference. 

๐ŸŒธ Since I changed my protein levels my sleep and energy levels have been much more consistent. I feel WAY better. And my body is clearly getting stronger. 

๐ŸŒธ Your recommended protein grams  menopause and up per a day are based on your kilos.  I will put up some charts in future YouTube videos for calculations.
